The April 28th, 2007 Texas OES Rescue Picnic
was a smashing success.
 

We had beautiful weather, a sumptuous luncheon prepared by Laurie and Bob which included great hamburgers and chicken breasts, tasty side dishes and drinks for all.

Many Thanks to Laurie and Bob for graciously opening their home to the Rescue group and all of the Adopters and Foster friends. 

It was estimated that 32 OES were present with 34 two legged uprights.

The day was filled getting kisses from many OES, with feeding the Alpacas and Llama, playing badminton, raffles of an OES puppet and a door prize, an Annual Membership Meeting and a short TxOESR Board meeting for re-election of officers
and exchanging rescue stories.

We certainly enjoyed seeing all of our Adopters and Foster friends and their
sheepers again, and deeply regret that some of you could not attend.  We'll have one next year around the same time, so mark your calendar early.
