This is Addy's big day.  Today she met her new "Forever Family".  Addy ran out to meet Ellen and Jim as if they had known each other all their lives.  It was love at first sight.  Addy even jumped up into Ellen and Jim's SUV as if to say, "Let's go home". 

 

Ellen and Jim had driven a long way to get Addy so they stayed over night to drive back home the next day.  But first, everyone went on a long walk in the forest and a splash in the creek with Addy's foster family dogs.  As you can seen in the photos, everyone was having fun.

 

Ellen, Jim and Addy are home now.  They report that Addy is doing great.  Addy is already the center of attention.  Ellen and Jim have lots of time to spend with her.  They are even thinking of getting a "brother" or "sister" for Addy to play with.  She is happy, they are happy and Texas OES Rescue is delighted.  This is a perfect match.
