Boomer (previously known as Bear) came into Rescue as an owner turn-in to a shelter.  He had been well taken care of, but  had very few manners.  Owner gave reason of turn-in: "we can't handle him".

While being fostered, he "learned" some needed manners; however, he hated his crate.

Boomer was adopted by a loving family in AZ.

"Just wanted to check in and let you know that today is now day 4 and it is like he has been with up forever!!! A great boy and is accepted by our 2 other "kids" unconditionally, just a wonderful playmate!!!  He is doing very very well, no accidents in the house, does grab a thing here and there that he shouldn't but he is learning to play with his basket of toys, hates the crate.. did get a wire crate.. still hates it.  If you could only see us, it is quite funny, he is bound and determined he is not getting in, but I am sure you can imagine who wins!!!  Ha Ha, battle of the minds!!  (well, some things NEVER change  <g>)
He awakes in the morning about 4:30 am (we need to work on this!!!).  At that point he goes out and joins us on the bed for the remainder of the night!!  He loves toes and we find ourselves having to keep our shoes on. Just love him to death.  Just wanted you to know that all is well and Boomer is GREAT!!!!!!!!!!! Pictures to come!!!!"
