The picture below is the last
one we have of him, and it's with Buster.

Bentley was a wreck when we got him from a pet store. Someone had
bought him and then threw him back into the store and drove off. I
purchased him for $100. He was quite the puppy...chewing up
everything he could get to. We took him to obedience school, and he
passed every section except the part where he was supposed to stand
still...he wiggled his rear. And to the day he passed he was a
barker. He barked because he was happy, and he thought he was the
neighborhood's welcome wagon (waggin'?). Bentley loved all people
and animals. He'd go crazy when he'd see another dog or cat, because
he wanted to play.
As hard as it has been to be home without Bentley, we are so happy
to have Buster. He has helped us cope with the loss. When we got
home from the vet's office the day Bentley left us, Steve and I just
plopped onto the bed. Buster jumped right up (his first time on the
bed) between us as if saying "it's ok, people, I'll help you through
this!"
Thanks for sending Buster our way!
