COOPER FINDS HIS PERFECT HOME

Tammy at the local animal shelter called and said, “I think I have one of yours up here”.   Meaning an Old English Sheepdog.

He did look as if he may have had a little OES in him but it was hard to tell because of all the sores and scabs on the poor guy.  He had practically no fur on his back and hundreds of fleas and ticks.

HERE IS COOPER ON THE DAY HE WAS RESCUED

Cooper has had his last unhappy day for the rest of his life.   Three months of healing and Cooper turns out to be an Irish Wolfhound puppy … and a wonderfully gentle boy.

HERE IS COOPER MEETING HIS NEW FAMILY FOR THE FIRST TIME

Judith, David, Zackary and Loren are Cooper’s new family.

Here is what Judith writes about Cooper.

We LOVE Cooper!  He is wonderful.  He did do some crying the first day but now he is talking to us for sure.  His grin is infectious!  We love him!  He has been in a depression today that started when the kids went to school.  He did not eat breakfast and goes into Lauren's room and howls.  He also has snuggled with my sons blanket today.  He is pitiful.  I got him to play some today but he keeps going to the door and looking for the kids!  He LOVES the kids and follows them constantly.  He has been barking during the night.  We think that it was at the wind chimes on the porch.  At 1:30 in the morning David took them down and the barking stopped.  He did bark at the wind chimes again today even though they were laying on the back table.  I don't know what the wind chime thing is that Cooper has.  We wish we could read his thoughts.

He is so incredibly sweet.  We can't say enough about what a special dog he is.  He also gives the best dog hugs ever.  He has quickly worked his way into our hearts and we love him as if we have always had him.  Thank you, thank you, thank you.
