Check out Dexter at the PARADE

OUR boy suddenly (and unfortunately just about the time I wanted to go to bed) got his wits about him and discovered CATS!  He was determined that one of them was going to play with him and none of them wanted to.  He'd had his nose slapped earlier and after that was pretty wary of them, but I guess he forgot about that.  Then when I went to bed, Skyler took her usual spot on the bed, but Dexter also hopped on there.  She really didn't like that!  She kept creeping up as close as she could to my face and giving me kisses.  Meanwhile, Dexter was panting enough it felt like I was trying to sleep on a bouy in a hurricane.  Eventually I had to put them both out of the room and a baby gate in the door.  But then Dexter went exploring and discovered the wastebasket in the utility room where I put the kitty litter cleanings.  Just as I was about to drift off, there was a crash which I discovered was the wastebasket being dumped over so all the crud got scattered  around the floor.  Obviously I've got a far livelier Sheepie than I've ever had before!  But he is such a hoot when he's playing.  And he's been trying to play with Skyler, who is still afraid he wants to hurt her, even though I can clearly see he's just really excuberant and wacky.  I never thought I'd see Skyler out-done - especially by a Sheepie!  This is going to be a real adventure.

Obviously, they HAVE become friends.  One other note:  Skyler is also a rescue who has only 3 legs.
