My name is Duncan! Like the old saying goes, "I
wasn't born in Texas, but I got here as quick as I could." I'm
one of the group that is known as the Missouri Nine. Before I
was rescued, I was trapped in a puppymill. After I was rescued,
I was transferred to Texas and lived with my foster dad and mom,
Steve and Donna. I'm a very shy boy and there was a lot I
didn't know. For example, Steve and Donna had to teach me that
it was okay to eat inside the house. I lived with Steve and
Donna and my foster brothers until I was adopted into a family
with a Mom, a Dad, and two kitties.

Recently, Mom and Dad adopted a little brother,
Arthur, for me. He's really taller than I am, but he is
younger. I'm pretty serious for an OES, and I am still learning
how to play. I like carrying babies and putting them in my
favorite nap spots. My foster dad would give me a rib bone once
a week and Mom and Dad have kept up the tradition. I love my
bone! I'm a momma's boy, and I really love belly-rubs from
her. Now that Arthur is here, I'm a lot braver and don't mind
it so much when other dogs bark at me. There's a lot I'm still
learning about having fun and just being a dog, but I know that
I have the time and space to do that in my forever home.
