Dear Cindy
Here are some pictures of Elgood. He is with Lucy, our other dog and with Maz, out daughter's Teacup Maltese.
He has grown over the last month to be 6 months old and 66lbs. As
I mentioned Dr. Saxe is estimating 100lbs+.
Elgood has a wonderful temperament and he and Lucy get on very well
together. At times he tries to lean on her with his great weight to get
his own way but Lucy is faster than him, so can usually keep one step
ahead. He is very friendly to all other humans and dogs although he was
very nervous of Maz ( weight approx 10lbs) when he initially arrived,
hiding under the tables and behind the sofa. They soon became great
friends and Maz enjoyed climbing all over Elgood, which he didn't mind
in the least.
He loves to go out for walks and is walking better on his leash ,
although when he sees another dog or human that might want to play , it
is difficult to persuade him to walk on. After the recent rain he was
very distracted by the frogs!
He is always laid back and at his best when he is relaxing with our
family. He is very loveable and is the center of attention with our
fellow dog walkers at Memorial Park.
Hopefully we can meet up at the dog park sometime in August.
