Dear Cindy,
 
I have been meaning to write you for so long but you know the saying "time flys when your having fun". Well, I'm having a blast in my new furever home. I have a new brother his name is Higgins, he's a Basset Hound with a height complex. He tends to over compensate by killing and gutting all the  stuffed animals mom buys for me. I always end up with pelts and those aren't very fun.  Mom's friend Lisa gave me a soccer ball and I love playing with that. It's too big for Higgins so it's all mine.  I have a big yard and me and Higgy play chase a lot, Mom often leaves the back door open for us to run in and out during the day when she's home.

             

I have sent you some pictures of me with my new family. I am still working on my manners, if you remember I'm kinda bossy but so is mom so I have to follow the rules. Rule #1. No getting in peoples laps unless invited. Uh huh, I'm always invited. Whenever Dad comes home he lets me sit with him for a while in the Big boy chair. See that's me and Dad.  And Rule #2. No jumping on people. I keep forgetting I'm really tall compared to Higgins and that can scare some people so, I just sit up and give them "the paw" kinda like a high five. I have to work on that rule. I can't help myself, I love company at the house and love to give hugs and kisses.

   

I have a new friend his name is Hamlet. He is so cool, we have play dates and he always bring treats to the house. He can run real fast like me and he bounces like me too! Higgy can't bounce, he's big boned and his back end does not leave the ground. LOL!! That's me and Ham in another picture.
  
   

Well, I should go now, it's really late for a school night and I should be asleep. Please tell Officer Tammy thank you for saving me. I love my new home and
they love me. Dad always tells me I'm a good girl and how pretty I am, Zech tells me I'm a good girl too and gives tummy rubs and ear scratches. He's in school now but always makes time for me. He walks me every day at 6am before school so I get plenty of exercise. Mom never stops moving and I get tired just watching her. Even though she is busy she always gives hugs and kisses every day (she kisses the tip of my nose) Since Mom is always busy she put beds in every room just in case me or Higgy get sleepy, we even have our own quilts. Homemade. I'm really grateful for all you did for me. Please know that I'm loved and safe. I promise to write soon.
