Here is one of the rescue babies we took in that weekend (10 dogs at once!).

Falcor is happily situated in his "forever home", as you can see by the story in the email below.

(Ya KNOW he's got 'em wrapped, don't you?)

Please also note that this couple  fostered Sammie, when we needed fosters desperately, and they did a wonderful job.  Thank you, Kim and David!  Your WINGS are showing.

We lost our beloved Old English Sheepdog, who felt like my firstborn, to cancer and were bereft.  I started looking everywhere for a way to deal with her loss.  Somehow, I was led to Grannie Annie with NEOES Rescue and Sally Gay with Texas Old English Sheepdog Rescue, whom gave us a lot of support and help in finding our next forever baby.  Sally called us up on a Sunday, Father’s Day and told us that she had taken in 3 four month old puppies and that we would have the hardest time picking which one to go home with.  She was so right.  Falcor, chose me by placing his head in my lap and I was completely taken with him.  But Sally also had other plans for us.  She talked us into helping her out and fostering a 4 year old female named Sammie.  If I had had my way or more energy and time…she would have stayed with us…she was that terrific of a dog.  However, Sally eventually found her a new forever home that she went to a month later.  We still miss her tremendously.  She changed my mind on adopting an older dog that is for sure.  Unfortunately, Falcor contacted Parvo the next day after we brought him home.  After a week at the vet’s special care, he made it through and came to find his forever home.  Each day, Sally would call and check on his progress…she is like his unofficial godmother that is for sure.  When naming him, she told us to pick a name that he would live up to…well he is our “Luck Dragon” from Neverending Story that is for sure. Falcor has been such a fun addition to our family.  He has learned to come when called, he walks well on a leash and is learning to sit.  He is the sweetest puppy that loves to play with our kitten and Standard Poodle.  It is a sight to see the three animals playing together and with our 3 year old.  We just can’t thank Texas Old English Sheepdog Rescue and especially Sally Gay enough.

Sincerely,

Kim and David
