HARLEY’S STORY

Harley had a tough road.  He had been picked up as a stray by a family that just kept him in the backyard with not much attention for about four months before he was rescued.  Harley’s fur was badly matted, he was underweight – but more seriously – Harley had heart worms.

But lucky for Harley, he found Jessica and her mom, Robin, who fostered Harley until he was healthy and well adjusted.

Here is what Jessica wrote us about Harley:

FROM JESSICA

In the course of his foster care Harley suffered minor paw surgery, kennel cough, and the dreaded heartworm treatments.  It seemed like the day to adopt him would never come.  Finally, Steve called us with the good news, Harley’s adoption papers were in the mail.

Its official, we signed the adoption papers January 9, 2007.  What a great way to start the New Year.

Harley and Willie, our other OES, get along great.  They really love each other and enjoy lounging around the house getting endless amounts of love.  All in all Harley is great and we couldn’t have hoped for a better pup.  He’s loving, protective and adorable.

We promised Harley he would never have another bad day in his life.  He is very happy with that!  We can tell because the only thing better than coming home to one wagging nub is coming home to two!!

So thank you so much Texas OES for making our family complete.

Always,

Harley, Willie, Jessica & Robin
