| As you can see by the email below, Honey definitely deserves a loving "forever" home. She had a pretty rough start, but she's on the road to better things now, thanks to the efforts of Rescue Angels Jim and Carol. Honey Girl will be spayed next week if her heartworm test proves negative. As Carol indicates, Honey loves to be loved, and if she is not house-broken now, it should take no time for her to learn, because she is such a smart and obedient girl. She will probably journey to Houston to be fostered next weekend, if she's not adopted before her trip. | |

We live in East Texas near Tyler. We've taken in a dog who was left behind by a neighbor when she moved (she never really acknowledged her as "her dog"). She looks a lot like an English Sheep Dog, but doesn't have as much hair. She had 5 puppies under their house and was an excellent mother to them all and, because she was starving and trying to feed her puppies, we started feeding her every day when we passed her house. Now, they've moved away and left her here and she's living with us but we have 4 other dogs and must find a home for her. She's very gentle, affectionate, submissive and also obedient. (she allowed me to clip the huge clods of hair off that were hanging from her body and also let us give her a bath the other day). We're trying to find out if she's house-trained but with 3 little dogs in our house, it's hard for us to keep her in for very long at a time. I know this is a long story, but just wanted to find out if you can help us find a good home for her. She needs to be spayed. If you think you could be of assistance to us please let me know. Thanking you in advance for a reply to this email. Carol & Jim
