Update January 10, 2011
 Hello. I finally uploaded my pictures! Here are 2 pictures of Hera. One is with her new brother Cola. They are in their Christmas outfits. You can see Lisa (the cat) in the background. She doesn't like to be dressed up and refuses to move when she has her sweater on. The other picture is Hera on her bed Christmas morning eating one of the bones Santa left in her stocking. Hera has completely adjusted to her new home. It's like she has always been part of our family. Thank you for letting us adopt her. We love her.

Hera is finally in her forever home. We met her new family halfway between Houston and Arlington. She seemed to know that they were there for her and tried to climb into their car without much encouragement.

We were both happy to see that she was ready to go but a little tearful too. Her are some pictures of her new family.

Hi Cindy and Kathy!  I wanted to give you an update on Hera.  We love her so much!  She is so sweet and has started to trust us.  Hera can now go up and down the stairs with just a little assistance now.  She and Cola are getting along well.  Lisa (the cat) has not been as welcoming, but she is getting better.  Hera went to the vet on Friday and was a big hit.  Everyone wanted to pet her.  I like the new vet.  They did not charge us for this visit and they spent a lot of time with Hera.  They have a free “adoption visit”.   Also,  they have a special in Feb. and will clean Cola’s teeth for less than $300 (as opposed to my old vet who wanted $250 just for the blood test before cleaning the teeth)!  They also have grooming for about $55 for Hera.  So, everything is going well.  I hope you all have a great Thanksgiving!  Jenna
