Steve,

Jaxson (aka Dasher) continues to be an energetic boy who requires frequent reminders of who the boss is.  He is loving, loyal, protective and playful.  He is progressing with his obedience training but we still have a ways to go.  Here are some pictures from Halloween!  We hope to be able to attend the picnic in the summer.

DASHER & ROBIN

Where were we going to find the perfect home for this happy, high energy two year old?  Dasher is a great sheepie but “dashes” everywhere and has the attention span of a two year old human.  That is -- very short.  Dasher needed an experienced owner who understands young sheepdogs and who has the patience to train him.

Robin lost her beloved Winston two years ago and decided she just couldn't wait any longer for another wonderful Old English Sheepdog.  Robin is perfect for this guy.  She knows about OES "rascals" and has the patience to handle him and see Dasher through his adolescence.

So, how would the first meeting go?

 

Dasher was over excited at first but quickly settled down.  You can see, there is already a close attachment. between Robin and Dasher.  Dasher followed her everywhere.

Dasher doesn’t have a “mean bone” in his body and loves everyone.  A walk around the neighborhood and Dasher is already making friends with the neighbors. 

Robin promises to send more photos and an update on how Dasher is getting along.
