My "Forever Mom" Heather has a BIG lap dog!

March 27, 2007

Dear Texas OES Rescue,

Although I enjoyed my time in my foster homes, I am glad to be at my forever home.  I get to play, run, eat out of really cute dishes, sleep in my boy’s room (his name is Zach by the way). We go for family walks almost every night after dinner.   Zach rides his bike and I run beside him, that is fun but, the big trucks still scare me (Mom said I am getting better).

Now that it is warm, Zach and I play with his water gun and the sprinklers – the more water I can get in the better.  My short hair cut came in handy; drying long hair just takes up too much time!  I also get to play tether ball, it is my favorite game.  Jumping, boxing the ball and flipping in the air are the best!  I really like playing tether ball with my OES friend Sophie.  My new favorite game is hide-and-seek.  I am getting really good at the finding part.

I recently graduated from my “dog” training class; it was a lot of fun.  I was the star of the class because I am so cute and will do just about anything for a treat.  I had a hard time completing my tasks in the store because everyone I passed just had to touch me and talk to my Mom.  I also like riding in the car and don’t quite understand why I have to sit in the back seat.

I now allow my people to take food, toys and bones out of my mouth.  Sometimes I don’t like it very much – it is my stuff after all!  I always get the item back so I guess it isn’t so bad.  I also like sitting in front of the fish tank and watching the fish swim, the closer I get to the tank the faster they swim!

I must go and find my boy now, it is starting to thunder and it can get scary.

Toodles,

Livy Lou

Who will throw the ball next?

It is Easter weekend and my friend Sophie and I like to chase bubbles.
