On Sunday, Donna and I drove to Keller to pick up Munchie and drive him to Arlington to visit with Chris and Debbi and their 10 year old daughter.  Munchie is 95 lbs of shy sheepdog.  He still has his tail and has one blue eye.  He was very shy during the visit but they loved him and Munchie and the 10 year old really took to each.  After investigating a very large backyard and a neighborhood walk, Munchie and the daughter just sat on the floor together.  I think this gentle giant will be happy here and they really liked him.  I drove Munchie back to Keller and Ed and I agreed that it was okay make the adoption permanent that day.  So we collected all of Munchie's toys and papers and drove back to Arlington.  We called today and Munchie is doing okay.  He is still shy, hasn't figured out stairs yet but the little girl and Munchie are getting close.  Debbi said that her daughter came home from school Monday and she and Munchie sat together under the diningroom table while she told Munchie about her day at school.
