Murphy & Maudie

UPDATE January 19  , 2012

These are our two that we adopted in 2007 from the "7 Desperate puppies" ad you sent out.  They live the life of luxury and we are interested in seeing their sisters and brothers, if possible.  These are the first we have had that had tails.  Very interesting but love it.  They are full of love and excitement and their tails confirm their happiness!  Forgot what it was like to just see their little bottoms wiggle versus a tail.  At the time, we were going to move back to Texas, but have since decided not.  Will stay in Florida or move back to Central America.  Would love to attend the annual picnic.  M & M love everyone and other dogs.  With my experience, typical OES with loving, friendly ways and not a mean bone in their bodies.  I take them with me everywhere I go and they are constantly looking for other dogs walking with their parents.  Also proud to say we made someone smile every day when they admire my beautiful puppies!!   Thank you for listening and hope to hear about their sisters and brothers.   Ralph

Original Post ----  GREAT NEWS!!

Ralph and Gloria live in Florida where they read about the "7 Desperate Puppies" on the Texas OES Rescue Website.  They drove two days to Fort Worth to rescue Murphy and Maudie and take them back to Florida where they are being loved and pampered.  In the not too distant future, Ralph and Gloria want to return to Texas and bring Murphy and Maudie.

Here is what Ralph wrote about them:

Pictures, finally!    10 months old now!  Murphy on the right with the big eyes.  Maudie is more white and smaller eyes.

We have the nicest and best behaved puppies in the world!  We have no horror stories.  I will tell you the worst and then brag on their behavior.  They sleep in our bedroom with the door closed.  They are very happy there since we have their own beds.  They cuddle with each other, kissing and playing with their bones.

Gloria keeps a basket in the bath where she keeps extra rolls of  tissue.  One night I heard too much activity but did not worry much about it.  In the morning, we discovered they got into them and proceeded to totally shred two or three rolls all over the bedroom floor.

They are not trained for a leash yet and two of them tends to be a hand full.  I take them to a field that is close by so they can run and do all their duties.

When in the bedroom, they will come look at me and if I act asleep, they will lay down and be good.  If I let them know I am awake, they want their loving and attention.  They are very happy puppies and have adjusted well.  They understand almost everything and do not run off. They are very good, well behaved and doing great."
