He's just the sweetest little dog with a great temperament. His bark is coming in...he's letting the big dogs on the other side of the fence know that he's not intimidated by them....of course he barks and then hightails it to the door-- just incase they are able to jump the fence. We have gotten him a KONG and he loves it...Michael bought the KONG STUFFING for it and he loves that too....we are trying to limit it to when we leave the house. Dr. Pat also approved the CET chews but asked us to wait until he was older or at least limit them to a couple of times a week. And thanks for the link to the Natural Paws spa... we'll drive over there and check it out. I want to try to groom him myself...I think going to the groomer can be so traumatic for them...but I know that sheepdogs do have a way of becoming a tangled mess very quickly...so it is good to have a back up. Oh...and we chose Oliver -- Ollie-- because that is the only name that he responds too and Cait said she'd give him his first bath if I agreed;) ....I think it fits but I was campaigning for Angus "Gus" McFarland... however, he didn't care for that at all. Again...Thanks for all the work you do to take care of the OES throughout TX...and for approving us for adoption...we really, really appreciate it. And feel free to check in on our little one anytime...and tell Steve he is welcomed to do so too;) Cheers...Tammy |
