Hi Everyone: I just wanted to
drop you a few picture's of Petey Poo Poo and Ranger. Petey
is the BEST dog I have ever been involved with. He will
litterly stop in his tracks if you call him. Anyway, I also
wanted you to know that things with Ranger have finally
turned around,... It has been a hard year on him getting
adjusted to the new dogs. I think he has finally accepted
them and (knock on wood) we have had no issues for several
months now. Petey loves to play with everyone, so he even
picks on Ranger to play with him. Easy going Petey actually
gave Ranger his lunch the last time Ranger tried to pick on
him and now Ranger pretty much leaves everyone alone. When
he does get mad, they just leave him alone. Keep is in
your thoughts, but all is well and has been for sometime. I
really was concerned it was not going to work, but it seems
to be working.

I was just in awe when I first saw Petey come
bouncing out of the car. He was soooo BIG and beautiful and he always
had a smile on his face. He was so busy checking out everything that it
took him a little while before he gave me a kiss, but now that he has
started kissing, he has not stopped. He could have learned that from
Ranger. Ranger kisses everyone. He is just great to cuddle with. His is
so big, soft, and gentle, just like a teddy bear. When we got home, it was time to introduce
Petey to Abby (my Beardie girl). I think she fell in love with him at
first sight. They woke me up early the next morning with all their
playing. It was such a good feeling that things seemed to be coming
together better than I ever imagined. Ranger, Abby and Petey are getting
along just beautifully. He follows them around all day. They are like
his big sister and brother. All my friends and family have come over to
met Petey and bring him welcome gifts. Abby even lets him sleep in the
bed at night, and he likes to cuddle, so he is right next to me. It is
just amazing what love and care can do. He appears to have adjusted
well, but I know his misses his first two moms (Malise and Cindy). He has been a great help in the yard. I am re-digging my pond and he was right by me the entire time. I can't wait to see what he does when I fill it with water. I might have to make it an OES swimming pool. He has helped with planting trees in that he digs holes for me in the yard. He is also great at fashion design. Apparently heels are out this year, as he has removed the heels from a few pairs of shoes I left laying around. I cannot put into words what a great time I am having with him. I can't wait to get home from work to spend time with my wiggle-butts, and watch them play. He also does the cuties little dance when he sits. It is almost like he is going to tip over, but he never does. We practice sitting a lot just because it makes me smile so much to watch him. If it was not for the big beautiful tail of his, he may just tip over. He is so well behaved. He listens to me and has never ignored me. I hope he does not pick up on the trick from Ranger and Abby. I will keep you up to date on all our goings on. Thank you for giving the opportunity to have two of the greatest sheepdogs in the world. Kristy, Ranger, Abby and Petey. The RAP Pack. |
