YES, Rupert is adopted!!! The new owners met us and took him home today! I'm so happy that he's getting a great home. I had thought about emailing you the other day to tell you they were planning to come after all to get him but was I afraid to jinx it. I thought I would email you after they saw him and took him. They loved him immediately when they saw him. They said that he looked even more adorable than in the pictures. They said he was their "Disney Dog". I agree - he should be in a Disney movie.  He's got a unique cuteness about him. (the man who adopted him, Dr. Charles, drove up from Lawton, OK with his friend Ann - the same people who initially emailed you and you rerouted their email to me.)  We had a few emails back and forth this week with them telling me they were preparing for Rupie by buying him a crate, two beds, and lots of toys (among other things!).  And they were going to spend a long time "puppyproofing" the house and yard before his arrival.  I couldn't have asked for a better home! Rupert will do well with a big yard to run in and regular walks to get rid of his excess energy.  They will spend LOTS of time with him.

His new owner promised us lots of pictures and emails and today when we met he showed us pictures of every dog he owned in his life prior to Rupert (all living long happy lives).
