Sam, one of the three members of the
"Folded Ear Gang", managed to win our hearts, and was smart
enough to show me, his foster dad, that he wanted to stay with me as
my "forever" dog. Sam's brother and sister went to a no-kill
shelter, where they assured us they could find excellent homes. Sam
is very low key and yet playful and helps to keep his half-brother Blue
busy and "employed". In fact, Sam is sitting beside me as
I write this, and smiling and giving loving looks.
This fun boy thinks that at 50 lbs and 6 months old, he is still a little lap puppy and since he is still growing, this will not go on forever! Art NOTE FROM FOSTER "MOM": Although I've always said Sam was a bit "slow", it was pointed out to me today that he was able to sneak into our hearts, and he's still here. Therefore, I change my evaluation of him...he's one of the smartest "foster" we have had in a long time (minus Devon, and became my personal companion). Hat's off to both of them! Sherrie |
