Dear Sherrie and the Texas OES Rescue Group,
What a great experience it has been for
Walt, Geoff and myself to have benefited from the OES Rescue
Organization. Not only have we met marvelous folks and made great
friends; but in the process, we are now proud owners of another OES
named Sophie. Sophie came to us a couple of weeks ago and
celebrated her first birthday July 9th. She is a real character
who managed to make her way into our hearts in a couple of seconds.
Our five year old OES named Pumpkin has thoroughly enjoyed her new
playmate. She and Sophie are a perfect match in personality and
activity level. The two entertain us constantly. Sophie
needs a bit of work on housebreaking, but is coming along nicely. Thank
you Steve and Donna (Sophie's foster parents) for the love and patience
you gave Sophie. Not only did they come to our home with their two
darling OES's, but also Sophie and all of her belongings. They
added "a few" (actually, it was like Christmas) special gifts
such as toys, a grinder, health food goodies, leash, and a few meals to
start her at our home. Here are some pictures we are sending to
share.
