Miss Shelby is adjusting very well. She now knows this is her home. She is the queen of the household. I'm Finding out that she is a bit hearing impaired but not totally deaf. We're working on some hand signals. She is daddies little helper. We're painting the inside of the house and she takes the paint brushes when I'm not looking and takes them out side do do her own painting. All in all she is becoming my buddy.

Shelby went to the salon today and got her summer do. She was a very good girl. Can't wait till the holidays and she can wear her holiday finery. The new cut makes those pretty blue eyes stand out. She has gained about 14 pounds since she came to me. Must be that Lewisville climate.......
