Hello;
Please forgive me for not updating you sooner on our
beloved Teagan!
Well, not so fast, it was love at first sight for
Jerry and I, but not so much for Teagan with us and
her with the “other” alpha dog in our life, ol’
Bailey (another rescue- Heinz 57 pedigree).
Eventually, they negotiated a balance and have only
minor and infrequent misunderstandings these days.
We
boarded Teagan at Triple Crown Academy in the Austin
area while on
vacation.
It’s a great place for summer camp and thought she
could fine tune (okay—learn some) lady like
behaviors.
The attached note and photo’s from the Academy speak
volumes about little Ms. Teagan. Adorable, loving
and yes fiercely independent (who knew).
Who is the fastest?

Teagan hanging out
Hello Patty,
Just wanted to give you an up date
on how training is coming along. Teagan
has adjusted well to the kennel. We
are doing well with the training so
far. We are working on walking on
loose leash, sit, place ( it is a
boundary stay), & recall so. Teagan
has a mind of her own. Sometimes you
say lets go right and she says how
about left. if you say up she says
down. We are working with a lot of
consistency and repetition. will let
you know how we progress. Have a
great weekend. Please let us know
if you have any questions.

Many thanks to Cindy for the loving environment she
provided Teagan and to both Steve and Cindy and the
entire OES group for the great services you provide
to all of us.
Love,
Patty, Jerry, Bailey and Teagan Mixon
