We have fallen completely in love with Tori. She's exhibiting traits of two of our former dogs already.  We just returned from a "get to know your new uprights" four days, three-night stay at the Hyatt Regency Lost Pines Resort in Bastrop.  Tori behaved beautifully.  At least 100 people (and kids) must have asked to pet her and inquire about her.  She was so calm.  She never jumped up on anyone.  She was so good in the room and would go out first thing in the morning for a quick pit stop.  We felt so unbelievably honored (actually, I wanted to say arrogant) walking her through the lobby numerous times to the oohs and aahs of the guests.  Also, we'd sit on the back porch of the lobby in rockers with her at our feet, and so many people would ask to pet her.  She loved it and was very well behaved with both adults and children. The staff just loved her.  Of course, you know that's just the reaction that "sheepies" provoke in people.  We feel so fortunate to have her!  Her new bed from Frontgate just arrived.  Her monographed pillow is to follow.  Also, will send pics of our trip for you.

We really wanted you to see where Tori lives. We visited two dog parks on Monday. Both have wood chips in the dog areas. Both have public restrooms nearby. Bear Branch is larger with an area for small dogs only.  There are no trees in the dog area.  It's wide open.  The other park, Tamarac, has tall pine trees in the dog area so, it's very shady. Nearby is a picnic shelter that is adjacent to a pond with a fountain in the center.  The dog area is somewhat smaller and no small dog area.  We really liked Tamarac of the two.  There may be a picnic shelter at Bear Branch, but we just didn't see it.

Either one would be a nice for a Sheepie get-together.
