Nicholas
Brooks is
the son of Sharron Brooks. Sharron is a dedicated member of our
Rescue efforts. Nicholas, without being asked, accompanied
Sharron to the vet when they were fostering Ranger because he wanted
to learn about caring for our fur friends. Ranger was not well
socialized, so when Nicholas arrived home, he pulled out the crate and
assembled it in his bedroom. Ranger stayed in his room that
first night, and within 24 hours, was a different dog, due to the
attention and love that Nicholas gave him. Nicholas is also
learning about maintenance and diet of our Rescues. He plans to
help out with future fosters in his home. He would like to study
vet medicine when he attends college.
We thought that
he deserved a "thank you" presentation and a special Junior
Rescue Angel Certificate. Steve Schott presented the certificate
which had been signed by all Members of TXOESR.
