Sinatra

Meet Sinatra!!

TXOESR is helping a close friend who is going through life changing medical issues and can no longer care for her two beautiful Golden Retrievers. One has already been adopted but Sinatra remains in TXOESR care for placement.

Sinatra is a sweet 9-year-old Golden Retriever that needs a loving home. Sinatra is healthy and very energetic. He loves people and animals. Sinatra is house broken and his hips are excellent.  He will need an active family that will walk him and spend lots of time with him. He is a Velcro dog (loves his humans). Sinatra will need a firm but gentle hand in the first couple of weeks to establish his boundaries. He is a quick learner. His back story is that his mom had to go into the hospital and 2 months later she is still not able to live at home by herself. She never really connected with this sweet boy either.   He was left at the house and only fed and not let out. He will make a great addition to any family.  This sweet boy just wants to be loved.

Please use the TXOESR Adoption Application Form to apply for Sinatra - clearly state you interest in Sinatra on the application form.

Fletcher

Foster or Adopter Needed in Dallas / Fort Worth Area

Urgent Foster Needed for Fletcher

Fletcher joined TXOESR as an owner surrender 2 weeks ago since the family living situation had changed. TXOESR found a foster to give him a temporary safe landing spot. He is an OES-mix current on shots, unaltered (scheduled for neuter in a few weeks), good with other dogs and a heck of a snuggler - he is such a sweet boy! He comes from a Spanish speaking family - so commands will need some work. But he is smart as well as he is cute!

Tux

Tux is a 17-month-old neutered male OES - fully vaccinated, microchipped, crate trained, house trained, walks well on leash. Loving little guy but has had 3 occurrences of resource guarding and nip/bite with owner. He seems ok with dogs and around children. But the owner is now afraid of what might happen, so Tux was surrendered to TXOESR.

Tux will be going to a 3-week board and train session at Proven K9 Training DFW located in Ponder, TX. Projected end date for training April 11, 2026. TXOESR has one of our fosters working with Tux during his training and will be his foster once Tux completes training; as well as continue to work with Tux on training. If you are interested in adopting Tux, please complete one of our Adoption Application. The best home for Tux will be without children. Also, his training comes with lifetime support and training - so new adopters can work with him in a training environment with Proven K9 guidance.

Duke

Duke was rescued as a stray in Alburquerque, NM in early March 2026. He has gone through 3 fosters for various reason - most have not been trained in trauma and he has some issues to over come behavior-wise. He is going through a three week board and train session north of Denver.

Duke - Foster, Foster to Adopt, or Adopter Needed NOW!!

Foster application: https://www.texasoesrescue.org/fostering

The last day of his 3 week board and train is 4/3/26, and we need a home lined up by then at the latest!

5 years old  70lbs   Male

Training - Duke is currently in a board and train program in Longmont, Colorado The program includes lifelong training support for Duke and his future family, so we would love to have a local foster or adoption family ASAP. His family can attend his trainings

and also benefit from the training alongside Duke and further support him. Remember Duke arrived at an Albuquerque shelter severely matted with an unknown past. Duke needs ongoing training to improve his reactivity and ultimately learn how to be a loved family

member. He will be a wonderful addition to the right family who understands his needs. He also has hind-leg weakness that will be further evaluated by a vet after his training. He is currently on some pain meds and joint supplements.

Family - Duke could learn from having a dog sibling; however, Duke would also do well as an only dog. His family will need to be committed to supporting his ongoing training. Duke’s future family is an adult only household.

Not Neutered Yet. Potty Trained . UTD on Vaccines

Dudly

Dudly was a stray found on the streets of Amarillo, TX on Friday - March 13, 2026, which turned out to be Dudly's lucky day!

He was brought into Amarillo Animal Management & Welfare and placed on a 3-day hold in order to find his owners.

Unfortunately, no one came to claim Dudly and TXOESR was able to find a wonderful foster to provide him a safe landing spot for a couple of weeks. He has some issues with grooming and care, very underweight, some minor issues with ears, paws and tail.

He is a neutered 3-year-old male, now current on shots. Good in crate, seems to be housebroken, can use a doggy door, ok on leash. Get's along with other dogs. Microchipped. TXOESR is being to investigate other issues such as heartworm, tick and fecal testing.

We are looking for foster / adopter in the Dallas / Fort Worth area for Dudly's future care. Check out some of the pictures and videos of this sweet boy!

Dot

Meet Dot, aka Dottie Girl, as her foster parents call her!

She’s a sweet, smart, and playful girl who truly shines once she feels safe and learns to trust her people. Dot absolutely loves other dogs and is currently living with 10 pups ranging from 7 to 105 pounds, and she gets along beautifully with all of them. She thrives on routine and consistency as she continues building confidence, and while she may occasionally try to “redecorate” if given the chance, a sturdy crate helps keep her safe and comfy when you’re away, such as K9 Boss Kennels. With a little time, patience, and love, Dot turns into the happiest, most affectionate girl — the kind who grabs your hands in the morning to lead you to the door and is learning more every day that people, including men, can be safe, loving, and hers! She is a couch potato by day and loves to spend time on the couch. She’s currently working on basic training and leash walking skills to be the best girl in her furever home!

Dot is Available for adoption.
